Wow it's summer already and this year I hope it don't go flying past again like last year. The only thing I am not looking forward for is that we are going to the North Pole. The sad thing about the North Pole is each polar bear is BLACK and that they are black they are now very expensive. I really wanted to buy one two, so since I can`t buy one I am going to find out  what mode them black, then when we come home I am going to brag about the black polar bears with my family.

The Twilight Dream

                                                                      The Twilight Dream
One day there was a teenager  girl called Shaelon she always wanted to be a vampire. With                                                                 Edward,Alice,Jasper, Rosily, Emitt and Mr/Mrs Cullen. In her dream she would be Bella. But one day it came true,"for once a dream came true for me!"she said.

2 days ago I started high school. I was  bit nervous I did n`t know if people would be modernistic to me.

When I was eating my lunch with my friends one of them said that one of the people who came in was Edward. When I went to my class Edward was there. He quickly put his hand under his nose its like something or someone smelled.I ask my teacher where I will sit, he said sit here I sat next to Edward he was staring at me though the hole lesson.

That night I dreamed of Edward Cullen. In the morning when I went to class Edward Cullen was not there I thought I did something to make him not come to school. He was gone for 7 days  after it happened, my friend Jessica that when it`s a sunny day this there parents would pull them out of school.

Next part out soon!!!!!!!!

The Story Of Hamelin

Hamelin was a beautiful little town where everybody was clean and happy. The smells from the baker’s shop, like bread and cakes, was delicious. Then the rats came in to the town and ate all the foods. One day the mayor said to the people “Who catches the rats will get a bag of gold” The Pied Piper heard and he started playing on his flute and all the rats followed him. When he finished his job he went to see the mayor to collect his gold. He only gave him one gold coin. The Pied Pieper was very angry and he played his flute and all the children followed him and he took all the children of the little town.

fun facts about dinosaurs

  • The word dinosaur comes from the Greek language and means ‘terrible lizard’.
    The word was coined by
English paleontologist Richard Owen in 1842 and was meant to refer to
    Dinosaurs impressive size
     rather than their scary appearance.

  • Dinosaurs ruled the Earth for over 160 million years, from the Triassic period around 230
million years ago through the Jurassic period and until the end of the Cretaceous
period around 65 million years ago.

  • The time period from 250 million years ago until around 65 million years ago is known as
the Mesozoic Era. It is often referred to as the Age of the Dinosaurs because most dinosaurs
developed and became extinct during this time.

  • It is believed that dinosaurs lived on Earth until around 65 million years ago when a mass
     extinction occurred.

  • Scientists believe that the event leading to the extinction may have been a massive
asteroid impact or huge volcanic activity. Events such as these could have blocked out
sunlight and significantly changed the Earth’s ecology.

  • The first dinosaur to be formally named was the Megalosaurus, back in 1824.
  • A person who studies dinosaurs is known as a paleontologist.

  • Rather than being carnivores (meat eaters), the largest dinosaurs such as the
     Brachiosaurus
and Apatosaurus were actually herbivores (plant eaters).

  • To help fight meat eaters such as the Allosaurus or Spinosaurus, many plant eaters had
natural weapons at their disposal. Examples of this include the spikes on the tail of the
Stegosaurus and the three horns attached to the front of the Triceratops’s head shield.

  • Pterodactyls are not dinosaurs, they were flying reptiles that lived during the age of
    dinosaurs
but by definition they do not fall into the same category. The same goes for water based
    reptiles such as Plesiosaurs.

  • Birds descended from a type of dinosaurs known as theropods

  • Despite being long extinct, dinosaurs are frequently featured in the media.
One of the more memorable examples of this is Michael Crichton’s 1990 book
Jurassic Park.Adapted to movie in 1993, the story features cloned dinosaurs brought to
life with the help of DNA found in mosquitoes trapped in amber.

Helping Mum At Cooking Club
Cheese Scone Recipe
We make a lot of things at cooking club like banana and strawberry muffins, pancakes, pizza and loads more. Cooking club is on 3 days a week, Monday with year 1 and 2, Wednesday with year 3 and 4 and Thursday with 1 and 2 again. I love cooking with my mum so much I keep buying recipe books. If you want to make our most resent food we cooked you came to the right place because I'm going to give you the recipe for cheese scones.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Yield: 6 - 8 scones depending cutter

Ingredients:

  • 225g/2 cups self raising flour
  • 55g/½ stick cold butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1 level tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup /50g grated cheese plus 1/2 cup /50g extra for sprinkling
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 150 ml/¼ pint milk
  • 1 egg beaten with a little milk

Preparation:

  • Heat the oven to 400°F/205°C/Gas 6
  • Generously grease a baking sheet with butter then sprinkle with flour.
  • Sieve the self raising flour into a roomy baking bow, add the cubed butter, the baking powder and salt. Quickly rub the butter into the flour using your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
  • Add the grated cheese and dry mustard powder to the mixture and mix well.
  • Make a well in the center of the mixture and using a dinner knife, stir in enough milk to make a soft, pliable dough, if you add too much sprinkle with a little flour to prevent the dough from being too sticky.
  • Turn the mixture on to a floured board or work surface and knead very lightly until just smooth then lightly roll out to 2cm / 3/4" thick.
  • Cut rounds with a 7.5cm/3" cutter or cut into triangles with a sharp knife.
  • Place on the baking tray and brush with the beaten egg and milk mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese then bake near the top of the hot oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown and well risen.
  • Cool on a wire rack before eating.

The Pied Piper of Hamelin

The Pied Piper of Hamelin

Hamelin was a happy and peaceful town every one worked. Children played with skipping ropes and balls in the town square. The mayor was sitting in his office. The smell from the butchers tempted the local dogs to sit at the back door waiting for any scraps to fall in their mouths. People were selling clothes and vegetables on their stalls. The smell from the fresh bread wafted through the town square.

Thousands of rats invaded Hamlin. The rats ate all the food. The Mayor said who will get rid of the rats? Who ever does will get a big brown bag of gold .The pied piper said I can get rid of the rats then you can give me that bag of gold. So the pied piper played his pipe and all the rats follow him and went in to the big cheese. Then the pied piper went back to the Mayor for his bag of gold but the Mayor gave him one coin. The pied piper was very angry and so he took the children up to the mountain where there was loads of candy.

Thousands of rats invaded Hamelin and ate all of the food.

The Pied Piper of Hamelin

                                  The Pied Piper of Hamelin

Hamelin had a peaceful atmosphere and was a beautiful town. The children played happily with a ball in the street. The smell from the butchers tempted the local dogs to sit at the back door waiting for scraps to fall in their mouths.

Thousands of rats invaded Hamelin. They ate all food and the children can’t play in the town. The town was sad because the children can’t play happily with a ball in the street.  The Mayor of Hamelin said who ever gets rid of all the rats, get the bag of gold. The Pied Piper had a good idea. He started playing music from the pipe. All the rats followed the Pied Piper. The rats and Pied Piper went away. The Pied Piper showed the rats a big piece cheese. All the rats went in the cheese. Everyone clapped happily because the rats disappeared from Hamelin. The Pied Piper, went to the Mayor because, he wanted the bag of gold. The Mayor didn’t want to give the bag of gold to the Pied Piper and gave just a penny of gold. Pied Piper was really angry, and he got all the children and took them with him to a beautiful world with candy.

The Hamelin remained without rats and with the Mayor.

The people of Hamelin called to the children to stop, but the children didn't hear. They followed The Pied Piper through the streets and over the river.

New toothbrush

Whilst I was on my holiday in France, I bought a French toothbrush. It is made by a company called 'Signal',  it is pink, white, blue, red , grey and silver and has a picture of a koala on it. On the back of the packet it has lots of facts about koalas and it tells you how good the toothbrush is (I think.) Once I get some more batteries for my camera, I will post a picture of it.
